Shadow Escape is a stealth platformer where light and shadow determine your fate. Move through the darkness to avoid detection, use shadows as cover, and time your movements around guard patrol cycles to slip past undetected and reach the exit.
The game rewards patience over speed — charging through a level in the light is guaranteed to fail. Learning each guard's patrol route, identifying safe shadow corridors, and planning a clean path before moving is the path to success.

How to Play Shadow Escape
Move with arrow keys or WASD. Stay in shadowed areas to avoid detection.
Observe guard patrol patterns before moving — learn their routes.
Time your movements to pass behind guards during their blind spots.
Avoid lit areas — guards spot you instantly in full light.
Reach the exit portal at the end of each level to advance.
Tips & Strategies
- Watch first, move second. Spend 10–15 seconds observing guard routes before taking a single step — the information gathered is worth the time.
- Move in bursts between safe spots. Identify shadow refuges along your route and travel from one to the next in short controlled dashes.
- Guards return to their patrol if you hide. Getting spotted doesn't always mean game over — duck into deep shadow and wait for the alert to pass.
