How to Play Sudoku Puzzle Master
Click or tap an empty cell to select it.
Type a number (1–9) to place it in the selected cell.
Each row, column, and 3x3 box must contain 1–9 exactly once.
Use pencil marks (small numbers) to note candidates without committing.
Complete the grid to solve the puzzle.
Solving Techniques
- Start with naked singles. Find cells where only one number is possible given the row, column, and box constraints — these are free fills.
- Hidden singles. A number that appears as a candidate in only one cell of a row, column, or box must go there — even if that cell has other candidates.
- Pencil marks first on hard puzzles. For Expert difficulty, write candidate numbers in every empty cell before solving. The pattern of candidates reveals the logic.
